Call for papers for Journal of Industrial and Management Optimization (JIMO)

Dear POP members:

      On behalf of the Editorial Board of Journal of Industrial and Management Optimization (JIMO), it is my great pleasure to invite you to submit your next papers for consideration for publication in JIMO, which is an international journal published by the American Institute of Mathematical Sciences. In less than two years since its inception in February 2005, JIMO has become an SCI-E journal. The journal is devoted to publishing peer-refereed, high quality, original papers on the non-trivial interplay between numerical optimization methods and practically significant problems in industry and management so as to achieve superior design, planning and/or operation.  Its objective is to promote collaboration between optimization specialists, industrial practitioners and management scientists so that important practical industrial and management problems can be addressed by the use of appropriate, recent advanced optimization techniques.  It is particularly hoped that the study of these practical problems will lead to the discovery of new ideas and the development of novel methodologies in optimization.

      Our strong editorial board is committed to ensure a rigorous but quick (within three months) refereeing process, and the Publisher, AIMS, will ensure a rapid publication.

      Manuscripts must be written in English and submitted by e-mail in pdf or ps formats (if less than 2MB) directly to the editorial office at,
