Numerical Algebra, Control and Optimization (NACO)
The first issue will be a special issue in honor of Professor Masao Fukushima
for his 60th birthday. Professor Chritian Kanzow, Professor Donghui Li
and Professor Nobuo
Yamashita are the Gust editors of this special issue. This special issue,
which will contain more than 10 papers by well-established researchers
in optimization, is scheduled to appear in February, 2011. We also expect
to receive some quality contributions from ICOTA8 to be held in Shanghai,
China in December 2010. However, the flow of submissions is insufficient
for later issues of our first volume at this stage. Thus, we are writing
to you to seek your support to submit a paper of either original research
or review nature by the end of December 2010 to be considered for publication
in NACO so that we will have a sufficient number of papers for the second
to fourth issues. Also, we wish to seek your suggestions on new initiatives
and ways to help promote our journal. In particular, we need high quality
papers from researchers in the areas. If you are interested in editing
a special issue, please let us know and tell us your plan.
NACOfs publisher AIMS is determined to build up NACO into a major publication.
To aid this process, AIMS will make sure that the journal is a rapid publication
and reaches the largest possible readership through its conference display
and its website
http://www.aimsciences.org/journals/naco/index.htm.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your professional support and we are looking forward to receiving a paper from you. Your constructive suggestions are most welcome. Together, let us make NACO a journal we can all be proud of.
Best regards,
Song and Wenyu
