Report on

A Special Workshop in Honor of Prof. Paul Tseng Large Scale Optimization:
Analysis, Algorithm and Applications

The above workshop was held on May 21, 2010 at School of Management, Fudan University, in honor of Prof. Paul Tseng. During the workshop, 14 internationally renowned scholars attended the workshop and delivered invited talks. They are:

Recently, Tom Luo, Jong-Shi Pang, Yinyu Ye and Shuzhong Zhang proposed to the MOS (the Mathematical Optimization Society) and the Chinese Mathematical Programming Society to establish the Tseng Lectureship in Continuous Optimization. This will be a continued effort to commemorate the contributions of Paul Tseng to the field of optimization, in addition to the special workshop.
