CIMPA School on Dynamic Optimization
Argentine, Aug/Sep 2010

We are pleased to announce the 2010 CIMPA School on Dynamic Optimization to be held in Tandil, Argentine from August 30 to September 10, 2010.

Organizers :
F. Bonnans (Chair of the Scientific Committee)
P. Lotito (Chair of the Organizing committee)

This school aims to present to the students the state of the art of dynamic optimization with regard to Optimal Control. This will be accomplished through several courses about the modeling, the analysis and the numerical resolution of optimal control problems.

The school consists in 7 courses of 6 hours and many invited conferences. The courses are:
1- Dynamic Optimization Using Simultaneous Collocation Formulations.
L.. T. Biegler, Chemical Engineering Department Carnegie Mellon University.

2- Optimal control with state and control constraints.
F. Bonnans, INRIA-Saclay and CMAP, Ecole Polytechnique.

3- Algebraic methods in dynamic programming.
S. Gaubert, INRIA-Saclay and CMAP, Ecole Polytechnique.

4- Stochastic optimal Control.
H. Pham - U. Denis Diderot, Paris VII.

5- Control and stabilization of nonlinear infinite dimensional systems.
J. Raymond, U. Paul Sabatier, Toulouse.

6- Backward SDEs and non linear PDEs.
N. Touzi, CMAP, Ecole Polytechnique.

7- HJB approach for optimal control problems.
H. Zidani, INRIA-Saclay and ENSTA.
