Background:
I was raised in São Paulo, Brazil,
and I obtained the bachelor's degree in
Computer Science (2005), masters' in
Computer Science (2007), and Ph.D. in
Applied Mathematics (2011) from University
of São Paulo.
After that, I worked as a post-doctoral
researcher in University of Campinas,
Brazil and as a visiting researcher in
Kyoto University, Japan. From October 2013
to March 2019, I was an assistant
professor in Kyoto University. Since April
2019, I am an associate professor at the
same university.
